Florence Scovel Shinn (1871-1940) was an American artist, book illustrator, lecturer, and metaphysician. In 1925, she published The Game of Life and How to Play It, which brought Shinn special fame as a metaphysician and author. Shinn's philosophical thinking is based on the Bible, which can become a guide for every person's life. In the book, the author's vision and worldview are substantiated by the stories of people and episodes from Shinn's own life, admonitions, and wise sayings, which give the book a special charm. Florence Scovel Shinn also wrote The Secret Door to Success, published in 1940. Louise Hay, a world-renowned American psychologist and metaphysical teacher, published Sheen's work The Magic Path of Intuition in 2013, which was never published during the author's lifetime.
